Are you a leader, expert, or a part of an organization that works on advancing college teaching excellence?

With the anticipated launch of the Alliance for Better College Teaching coalition in early 2026, we are actively recruiting organizations and individuals to participate. Coalition members will:

  • Have the opportunity to co-design and iterate on the strategy for advancing teaching excellence at scale;
  • Share in community with other individuals and organizations with a similar mission;
  • Attend quarterly meetings (some in person, some virtual);
  • Help spread and scale the work of the ABCT; and
  • Leverage the ABCT for your organization’s work.

Are you in a college or university with a solid commitment to teaching excellence?

Does your institution have a strong culture that supports teaching for student success through norms, community, policy, and practice? We are recruiting colleges and universities (all institution types) that will:

  • Have the opportunity to co-design and iterate on the strategy for advancing teaching excellence at scale;
  • Share in community with and learn from other institutions with a similar commitment to teaching excellence;
  • Benchmark policies, programs, and data (confidentially within the BCTN);
  • Pilot the ABCT strategies and benefit from the research and leadership of the ABCT; and
  • Shape a future public-facing designation for Teaching Excellence Colleges and Universities.
